Two new Cadiz Police officers will soon be on the streets after they complete their field training.
Police Chief Duncan Wiggins says officers Tyler Goldman and Daniel Bruce are getting ready to begin their patrols.
Wiggins says two other officers are still in training at the state criminal justice police academy.
The chief is hoping to have the Cadiz Police Department back at full staff by summer as the department works to fill another vacancy.
When at full staff the Cadiz Police Department will have nine full-time officers, with two of the officers serving as Trigg County School Resource Officers while school is in session.
