A wreck on Pembroke Oak Grove Road sent a man and woman to the hospital early Wednesday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say Makayla Whittington was turning onto Pembroke Oak Grove Road from Bell Chapel Road and pulled into the path of Timmy Shemwell. The crash caused Shemwell’s vehicle to run off the road hitting a utility pole and splitting it in half.
Both drivers were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for what deputies say are non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened just after 4 am.
