Trigg County High School Student Tests COVID Positive

A Trigg County High School student is the latest positive COVID-19 case in the school district.

Superintendent Bill Thorpe announced the new case Wednesday morning and said extra deep cleaning and sanitizing procedures have been implemented throughout the school. The Trigg County Health Department has started the contract tracing process and will notify parents and students who may have been in close contact with the student.

The school district launched a COVID Data Dashboard last week. As of Wednesday morning, the dashboard reported 11 in-person student active cases and 4 staff active cases. Also, there are 116 students and six staff quarantines.
