A building at the intersection of South Campbell Street and East 7th Street was damaged in a fire Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Firefighters say police were in the area when they noticed smoke coming from the structure just after midnight. The fire was found in a small bathroom and quickly extinguished without spreading to the rest of the building.
The cause of the fire was unknown.
