The Hopkinsville International Festival has been canceled for the second year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Officials said the local celebration of world culture was scheduled to return for its 11th year, March 26 and 27, at the Planters Bank-Jennie Stuart Health Sportsplex. Event organizers have opted to forego an in-person format after consultation with local health, safety, and city officials.
While the International Festival will not be rescheduled this year, organizers are planning to film a brief video overview that will provide some of I-Fest’s flavors virtually.
Refunds for vendors and others involved with the International Festival can be arranged through the Parks and Recreation office by calling 270-887-4290.
