Kentucky Adds 1,768 New COVID-19 Cases Sunday

Kentucky’s positivity rate stayed about the same from Saturday, as nearly 1,800 cases were added to the state’s COVID-19 case total.

On Sunday, the state added 1,768 cases and 31 new deaths. The statewide death toll is now 3,745. The positivity rate is now 8.81-percent.

Currently, there are 1,327 Kentucky residents hospitalized, 354 in the ICU, and 173 on the ventilator.

Monday, Governor Andy Beshear will discuss recent COVID-19 trends and how the state continues to vaccinate faster than it receives doses.
