Trigg County Nearing 1,000 COVID-19 Case Mark

The Pennyrile District Health Department reports Trigg County has recorded 982 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic hit Kentucky 11 months ago.

According to the Friday report Trigg County is second only to Caldwell County that has recorded 1,012 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began. There are currently 84 people recovering at home in Trigg County, with 4 hospitalized. 886 Trigg Countians have recovered from the COVID-19 virus, with eight deaths reported in the county.

58 people from Caldwell County are recovering at home, with 28 people from Lyon County, 30 from Crittenden County, and 35 from Livingston County. Five people from Caldwell County are hospitalized, with 3 from Crittenden County, 1 from Livingston County, and none from Lyon County.

Caldwell County reported 23 deaths, with Lyon County reporting 13, Livingston County 17, and 19 in Crittenden County.
