Oak Grove Tourism Executive Director Traci Cunningham will serve as Event Director for the Kentucky Travel Industry Association.
According to a news release, the position is for tourism professionals who have produced major festivals or events either on the industry’s tourism side or a conference and event center. Cunningham operates on both sides and will serve a three-year term.
She currently holds a position on the Kentucky Association of Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and serves as Vice President of the Southern Kentucky Film Commission.
“I am thrilled and excited to be a part of the Kentucky Travel Industry Association Board of Directors as one of their newest board members,” Cunningham says. “I believe this is an extraordinary opportunity to better serve this industry. I am always looking for ways to do my part in helping Kentucky’s tourism economy grow and for the people of the country to see what an amazing state we have.”
