A Princeton woman was transported to the hospital after ponding water on KY 293 North caused her vehicle to run off the road and overturn Monday morning.

Caldwell County Chief Deputy Sheriff Chris Noel reports deputies responded to the rollover wreck with injuries around 11:10 a.m.

Upon arriving at the scene and conducting an investigation, Deputy Jason Kirk determined 26-year old Neva Rogers was driving southbound on KY 293 North when she hydroplaned, causing the vehicle to exit the left side of the road, overturn, and hit a tree and fence.

Deputy Kirk says Rogers was transported by Caldwell County EMS to Caldwell Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Princeton Fire & Rescue, EMS, and Wallace Towing.
