Kentucky COVID-19 Postivity Rate Continues To Drop

The state positivity rate continued to inch down as more than 2,000 new cases of COVID-19 were announced Sunday by Governor Andy Beshear.

According to the daily update there were 2,018 cases of COVID-19 reported Sunday along with 35 new deaths. Beshear said the state positivity rate dropped from just over 10.5 percent Saturday to 10.24 percent Sunday. There were 1,540 people hospitalized with COVID-19, 371 in the intensive care, and 218 on a ventilator. The governor said the state’s 35 new deaths push the statewide COVID-19 death toll to 3,421.
