Names Released In Monday Pennyrile Parkway Crash

Deputies have released the name of a Hopkinsville woman injured when her car collided with two tractor-trailers on the Pennyrile Parkway Monday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say Camaya James was entering the Pennyrile Parkway at Exit 11 when her car hit a tractor-trailer driven by Roy Kelly, of McDonough, Georgia. The impact of that crash caused James’s car to spin and hit a second tractor-trailer driven by Kevin Lawson, of Powhatan, Arkansas, before running off the road and into a ditch.

James was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with head, shoulder, and leg injuries.

The crash happened just after 10 am.
