The Pennyrile District Health Department confirmed 49 new COVID-19 cases in their five-county district from the weekend and Monday.
Officials said 21 of those cases came from Trigg County, with the new cases ranging in age from 15 to 88. All but one, a 76-year-old female, is recovering at home.
Six new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Caldwell and Livingston counties, along with four in Lyon County and twelve in Crittenden County.
