The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says a section of Kentucky 525/New Hope Road in Trigg County is closed through late Wednesday afternoon.
Keith Todd, spokesman for the cabinet, says the District 1 Bridge Crew will be excavating the bridge end for base repairs to improve the approach. He adds the closure is between Jack Humphries Road and Prather Road.
There will be no marked detour, but motorists can self-detour via Kentucky 1253, Kentucky 272, and Kentucky 139.
