Four people including a police officer were injured in a wreck on Dawson Springs Road Saturday night.
Kentucky State Police say a car hit the back of a Hopkinsville Police cruiser on Dawson Springs Road near the intersection of West 7th Street just after 8 pm. The officer along with three people in the car were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Police say two people from the car were then flown to Nashville hospitals, the extent of their injuries was unknown. The Hopkinsville Police officer was reported to be in stable condition at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
The names of everyone involved in the crash have not been released. Kentucky State Police are investigating the crash.
