Man Charged With Violating An Emergency Protective Order

A Trigg County man was charged after he reportedly violated an emergency protective order Wednesday night.

Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say 39-year-old James Sanders was served an emergency protective order and told to vacate the property.

Deputies were called back to the home on Bush Road after Sanders reportedly returned and refused to open the door.

Deputies say they were able to get a search warrant for the house and they forced entry inside and found him hiding in the attic.

He was charged with possession of meth and violation of an emergency protective order.
