The Pennyrile District Health Department reported fifteen COVID-19 related deaths Thursday and 71 new cases across its five-county district over a two day period.
According to the health department, Crittenden, Trigg, and Livingston counties each reported three deaths, four of the deaths were in Lyon and two in Caldwell County. The fatalities ranged in age from 46 to 95-years old.
The new cases confirmed on Wednesday and Thursday included 25 in Trigg County, seventeen in Caldwell, nineteen in Crittenden, twelve in Livingston, and nine in Lyon County.
