Hopkinsville Man Charged Meth Possession After Traffic Stop

A Hopkinsville man was charge with drug possession after a traffic stop on West 2nd Street Tuesday night.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle for not using a turn signal and during the stop, their K9 alerted on the vehicle. After a search, police say 3 grams of meth and 2 grams of synthetic drugs were found around the passenger seat where 37-year-old Jack McLendon was sitting.
McLendon reportedly admitted the drugs were his and he was arrested and charged with possession of meth and synthetic drugs.
