Trigg County Hospital will administer COVID-19 vaccinations to residents who are 70 and older January 6 and 7.
Hospital Administrator John Sumner says the vaccinations will take place at the Lexie Bush Convention Center at the Trigg County Recreation Complex. Sumner says the vaccinations will be by appointment only. He says the plan is to give 500 vaccines over the two days. Sumner says 200 doses will be available Wednesday and 300 doses will be available Thursday. The vaccination appointments will be scheduled Wednesday between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm and Thursday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Sumner says appointments to receive the vaccine can be scheduled starting at 8:00 Tuesday morning by calling Trigg County Primary care at 270-522-0898. Sumner says a caller will be limited to schedule appointments for two people. He says vaccination appointments will be handled on a first-first serve basis.
Sumner says anyone coming to the recreation complex to receive a vaccination will be required to a wear a mask, present a photo ID, and have a current insurance card.

Trigg County Hospital will have 200 Covid-19 Vaccines available on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, and 300 available on Thursday, January 7, 2021. The vaccines are for people 70 years of age and older. We will begin taking appointments on Tuesday, January 5 2021 at 8:00 AM. To schedule your vaccine, call Trigg County Primary Care at 270-522-0898. The appointments are made on a first come first serve basis. The scheduled times will be from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, and from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Thursday.
