The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced daytime closures along a section of Kentucky 778/Will Jackson Road in Trigg County beginning Monday.
The section will be closed near the 6-mile marker to allow extensive ditching and drainage work, including the replacement of cross drains.
The roadway will be closed from 8 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m. each day.
This project is scheduled on a weather-permitting basis and is expected to be completed late in the day on Wednesday.
This daytime closure is near 5950 Will Jackson Road between Reddick Pond Road and Alexander Road.
There will be no marked detour. Motorists may self-detour via KY 276/Hurricane Road and KY 139/Princeton Road.
