Janice Mason Art Museum Undergoing Handicap Renovations

The Janice Mason Art Museum is receiving handicap-focused upgrades with funding from the Community Development Block Grant.

Chairman of the Building Committee Paul Fourshee tells the News Edge the renovations include handicap ramps and parking and bathroom upgrades.

He says construction should be completed mid-March.

Fourshee adds they appreciate the public’s patience with the construction.

The grant, presented by Governor Andy Beshear shortly after his inauguration, awarded over $340,000 to allow for renovations to make the building handicap accessible and renovate existing bathrooms.
