The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of the man who was flown to an area hospital after a single-vehicle wreck on KY 903 Friday afternoon.

Chief Deputy Chris Noel says deputies responded to a rollover wreck with a subject ejected from the vehicle in the 1500 block of KY 903 shortly after 2:30 Friday afternoon.

According to Noel, an investigation by Deputy Jeremy Kolba determined 52-year old Kenneth Tyrie, of Princeton, was driving a truck east on KY 903 when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle dropped off the shoulder of the road and he overcorrected, causing his vehicle to overturn. Deputy Kolba says Tyrie was ejected from the vehicle and flown via helicopter from the scene to an area hospital.

The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by Caldwell County Emergency Management, Princeton Fire and Rescue, EMS, as well as Trice Hughes Wrecker Service.
