A traffic violation led to the arrest of two men on drug charges Sunday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to the area of Millers Mill Road for the report of a prowler and stopped a vehicle leaving the area on Memory Lane. The driver, 41-year-old Richard Scott, of Oak Grove, allegedly told deputies that there was marijuana in the vehicle.
After a search of the vehicle, deputies say meth was found in the rear floorboard and on the front passenger seat.
Scott and his passenger 28-year-old Marshall Austin of Hopkinsville were arrested and charged with possession of meth. Austin was also arrested on a warrant for contempt of court.
