Chances Of A White Christmas Are Dwindling

The latest weather forecast shows the region may not see much of a White Christmas.

According to the National Weather Service in Paducah, following three days of temperatures above 50 and sunshine, rain will begin to move in by late Wednesday into Christmas Eve. On Thursday, the temperature will only reach the lower 40s, with a chance for rain mixing with snow by the afternoon.

By Thursday night, precipitation moves out of the region, and the temperature falls below 20. Currently, the high for Christmas Day will be just above the freezing mark.
