Christian County has topped 700 active COVID-19 cases for the first time with 71 new cases reported by the health department Wednesday.
The county’s recovery rate stands at 79-percent.
There were 126 people between the age of 20 and 29 infected with the virus with 116 between 50 and 59 and 111 between 60 and 69.
Over 30,000 tests between the health department and Jennie Stuart Health have been given since March.
