A pursuit that started on Kentucky 91 in Christian County ended in a wreck in Hopkinsville Monday evening, with the driver escaping the scene.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop an SUV for speeding on Princeton Road. The driver fled towards Hopkinsville on Kentucky 91, the Princeton Road, before turning into the Copper Still parking lot located at West 7th Street and Dawson Springs Road. The driver then off the road, with the vehicle hitting a curb, which caused the airbags to deploy. The passenger side tire on the vehicle also broke off at the intersection of Bostick Drive.
The driver of the vehicle was still able to get out of the vehicle and flee. No arrest has been made.
