Jennie Stuart Health released a letter Friday asking the community to do the right thing concerning COVID-19 as we head into the Christmas holiday.
In the letter, the hospital asks residents to continue wearing a mask in public places, staying socially distant, washing their hands regularly, and protecting their loved ones by considering smaller gatherings.
Hospital officials said they remain steadfast in their dedication to patient care but add we are at a crossroads in this pandemic. They added the facility has a good supply of PPE but are more concerned about their staff as a possible surge of cases continues.
