A man and woman were arrested after they reportedly stole packages from the porches of area residences Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 31-year-old Holly Burns, of Dawson Springs, and 36-year-old Scott Ethridge, of Hopkinsville, were seen taking packages off of porches in the area of West 2nd Street and Riverfront Drive. They were located on South Main Street and, after a search of Burns’s backpack, a small amount of meth was found. They are both charged with theft of mail matter.
Burns was also charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
