Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred during an altercation on North McPherson Avenue Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they first learned about the stabbing when a 28-year-old man showed up at Jennie Stuart Medical Center with injuries from the alleged assault. Police say the man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
No arrest has been made but the report lists the charge as second-degree assault.
