A Hopkinsville woman told police someone took her checkbook and has been cashing checks.
Hopkinsville Police say someone apparently took the checkbook sometime between Monday and Tuesday and has forged the owner’s name while cashing two checks with a total amount of $750.
No arrest has been made but the report lists the charges as theft by unlawful taking and third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
