Trigg County Students Remaining Virtual Through Christmas Break

Trigg County Public Schools have announced elementary students will remain in the virtual learning platform through Christmas Break.

Superintendent Bill Thorpe made the announcement Wednesday morning, saying the increase in COVID-19 cases in the county led to the decision. All students will complete virtual work through December 18, with students off from school from December 21 through January 1 for the break.

Thorpe added all traditional learning students would return to in-person instruction on Monday, January 4.

Parents will be able to pick up a 5-day meal bundle for all children for next week on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the eleven meal delivery sites throughout the county.

The meal delivery sites are:

  • Roaring Springs Christian Church
  • Linton Methodist Church
  • Canton at Lakeview One Stop
  • Rockcastle at Trigg/Lyon Fire Dept
  • Cerulean at the restaurant parking lot
  • Caledonia at Locust Grove Baptist Church
