The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will close a section of U.S. 68-Business/Canton Road just west of downtown Cadiz Thursday.
District One Spokesman Keith Todd says the road will be closed at the Little River Bridge near West Cadiz Park to allow drift and other debris to be removed from below the bridge. The placement of equipment to facilitate the work will require the road to be closed to all traffic immediately west of the Kentucky 139/South Road intersection.
The roadway at this site will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and there will be no marked detour. However, motorists may self-detour via the west end of U.S. 68-Business to U.S. 68 and Kentucky 139/South Road.
