A Princeton man is facing arson and other charges after an altercation at a home on Skyline Drive Monday night.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison reports officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Skyline Drive shortly after 6:00 p.m where they made contact with the victim.
Assistant Chief Allison says an investigation revealed that a physical altercation had occurred and the bed had been set on fire but was extinguished before officers arrived. Police arrested 60-year old Dennis Cummins after they determined he was involved in the arson and assault.
Cummins was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail charged with first-degree arson, resisting arrest, fourth-degree assault domestic violence, and violation of an EPO.
