45th COVID Related Death Reported in Christian County

The Christian County Health Department reported another death linked to COVID-19 and an increase of 25 new positive cases.

Officials with the health department say an 82-year old Caucasian male with underlying health conditions was the county’s 45th death related to the virus.

Of the 25 new positive cases, sixteen are in the 22 to 59 age group, five of the cases are 21-years old and younger, and three are between 60 to 84-years old.

As of Friday, the report shows 571 active cases, pushing the county’s total COVID cases to 2,916 with 2,300 of those cases recovered.
