Deputies have released the name of a motorcyclist injured in a Wednesday afternoon on the Pennyrile Parkway.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 34-year-old David Smith, of Clarksville, was southbound, near the Pembroke Road exit, when his motorcycle ran off the road. Deputies say Smith claimed a vehicle cut him off but witnesses said there was no other vehicle.
Smith was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center then flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for leg, neck, and back injuries.
The crash happened just before 2 pm.
