A fire at U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company on North Main Street led to the building being evacuated Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Firefighters say a fire in an elevator system caused the facility to fill with smoke and it took several hours to remove the smoke from the building.
No one was injured in the fire.
