Stanley Engineered Fastening Announces Hopkinsville Expansion

Governor Andy Beshear announced Tuesday afternoon that Stanley Engineered Fastening plans to create more Christian County jobs with a $6 million expansion.

Beshear said the company, a part of Stanley Black & Decker, plans to add to their existing facility on Pembroke Road.

The expansion will allow the operation to absorb another Stanley Engineered Fastening facility, grow the current business, and expand into other products.

In other industry announcements Tuesday, Governor Beshear confirmed Georgia-Pacific Consumer Products Group opened their $100 million expansion in Bowling Green, a project that created 70-plus full-time jobs.
