Trigg Schools To Transition to Virtual Work for Thanksgiving Week

Trigg County Public Schools are confirming they will transition to virtual learning for two days during Thanksgiving week.

School administrators decided to transition to virtual work on Monday, November 23, and Tuesday, November 24. Wednesday through Friday that week will be Thanksgiving Break.

Superintendent Bill Thorpe said during that time, students and staff will not be in the building, and the maintenance and custodial staff team will conduct a deep clean of all buildings and surfaces. He added the district already does a regular deep clean in each building.

Students that are currently in the virtual learning setting will see no changes in their programs. Those who are making the transition will receive a Chromebook and other materials sent home Friday, November 20.

Meal delivery will be conducted Monday, November 23 only, at 11 locations throughout the county.

  • Canton- Sinclair Station/ Lake View One Stop
  • Roaring Springs- Roaring Springs Christian Church
  • Martindale- Cul-de-sac @ Martindale Ave and Martindale St.
  • Caledonia- Locust Grove Baptist Church
  • Trigg County Schools- Cafeteria Drop Off
