Transportation Officials Looking For Input on Proposed Kentucky 115 Project

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks for public input on a project they would like to do on Kentucky 115 in southeastern Christian County.

District Two Spokeswoman Keirsten Jaggers said information about the project is available online. The proposed project is the reconstruction of Kentucky 115 from the Interstate 24 interchange, north to Pembroke. The project would also include a new bridge over the CSX railroad.

Jaggers added the purpose of the project is to improve the mobility and safety of the highway.

This information will be available for at least two months.

Written statements will be accepted online or can be made by mail to the contact information below.  The online statements can be made through December 12th, 2020, and mailed statements will be accepted if postmarked by the same date. Written statements should be addressed to George Phelps, Transportation Engineer II.

All written comments made or postmarked by December 12th, 2020, will become a part of the official project record.
