Princeton Woman Injured in Saturday Wreck

A Princeton woman was hurt in a head-on collision at the intersection of Parkway Drive and Traylor Street over the weekend.

Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison reports the accident occurred shortly before 2:45 Saturday afternoon when 22-year old Katlynn Cutshall was driving east on Parkway Drive and attempted to turn left onto Traylor Street and hit a pickup truck driven by 60-year old Larry Jackson, of Princeton. Jackson was traveling south on Traylor Street and approaching the right turn onto Parkway Drive when the crash occurred.

Allison says officers determined Cutshall executed the curve improperly and did not give the right of way to Jackson causing a head-on collision.

According to police, Cutshall was transported by ambulance to Caldwell County Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
