Officials from the Christian County Health Department confirmed 16 new COVID-19 cases Saturday.
Spokeswoman Amanda Sweeney said the county now has 2,206 total cases with 295 deemed active. Of the active cases, 220 are either 59 or younger, and 75 are 60 or older.
Sweeney added there had been 1,878 recoveries and 33 deaths in Christian County since mid-March.
