A home located on North Old Madisonville Street was destroyed in a fire Thursday morning.
Crofton firefighters say flames and smoke were coming from the side of the home when they arrived.
The man who was staying in the home was reportedly able to get out uninjured and go to the neighbor’s house to call for help.
Firefighters say the home is a total loss and the cause of the fire was unknown.
The home is located at 196 North Old Madisonville Street.
