More information has been released on how the downtown Cadiz trunk-or-treat event will operate Saturday afternoon.
Renaissance on Main Director Casey Parrent tells the News Edge those participating need to enter West Cadiz Park from Kentucky 139/Jefferson Street southbound lane. When leaving the park, she adds vehicles will turn right onto Hamilton Street and head toward the traffic light.
Parrent said there would be a police officer directing traffic, and no left turns into the park will be allowed during the event.
The drive-through trunk-or-treat event will take place Saturday afternoon from 4:00 until 6:00.
Parrent is asking all those participating to stay safe through the evening.
After the drive-through trunk-or-treat event, two movies will be shown in West Cadiz Park. At 6:30, Pixar’s Onward will be on the big screen, and at 8:30, Hotel Transylvania 2. The movies are sponsored by Cadiz-Trigg Parks and Recreation, City of Cadiz Main Street Program, and Cadiz-Trigg Tourism.
