Officials with the Christian County Health Department confirmed the 30th COVID-linked death Monday afternoon.
Spokeswoman Amanda Sweeney said they are sad to report the 99-year-old Caucasian female, who had underlying health conditions, is the latest death.
She added their thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and families of those lost.
Sweeney asked the community to remember simple measures such as wearing your mask, social distancing, and frequently washing your hands, which can help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
