Update: Early Voting Precinct Change In Christian County

Christian County Elections Coordinator Melinda Humphries tells the News Edge with early voting off to a strong start in the county they have made a last-minute change to one of the precincts.

Humphries says they decided Thursday morning with the success of early voting at the Christian County Sheriff’s Office since Tuesday, they will be opening the Senior Citizens Center on West 7th Street as the second precinct next week instead of the courthouse.

Humphries says early voting is going really well with more than 1,000 registered voters casting ballots with only one precinct in the county this week.

She adds the lines are moving steadily for registered voters to cast their ballots at the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.

Beginning Monday, registered voters can cast their ballots at the sheriff’s office or the Senior Citizens Center, located at 1402 West 7th Street, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
