Area High School Closed for Two Days Due to COVID-19 Case

Fort Campbell officials say the high school on the Army post was closed Tuesday and will be closed again Wednesday due to a positive COVID-19 case.

DoDEA at Fort Campbell says a student at Fort Campbell High School tested positive and contract tracing associated with the student has been completed and quarantine requirements have affected a number of staff and students.

Due to staffing impacts and out of an abundance of caution, DoDEA officials said they coordinated with the Fort Campbell Community Health team and decided to close the high school to ensure resources and staffing are in place to cover all classes potentially affected.

Anyone with any questions is asked to contact the administration at Fort Campbell High School.
