The Department of Highways will be addressing a repair on U.S. 68 Bypass westbound in Christian County Monday.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokeswoman Keirsten Jaggers says beginning at 8:00 a.m. a short section of the Bypass will be closed until noon. The closure will allow crews to repair a settled bridge end and the eastbound lanes will remain open.
Jaggers adds the Bypass will be closed westbound from U.S. 68 to U.S. 41. The work is scheduled to be completed during that time, weather permitting.
Motorists can self-detour around this section of roadway bu utilizing U.S.68 and the Pennyrile Parkway to access U.S. 41.
