Hopkinsville Man Charged With Trafficking Drugs And Fleeing From Police

A Hopkinsville man was charged after police say he fled from them on a bike in the South Wooldridge Road area Thursday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop 29-year-old William Carneyhan after they were called to the area for a person fitting his description that had an active warrant.
Carneyhan reportedly fled on a bicycle before he wrecking in the backyard of a home on South Wooldridge Road, he then fled on foot before being arrested.
Police say he was found with one gram of meth, marijuana, and a scale. Carneyhan is charged with trafficking meth, second-degree fleeing or evading police, and possession of marijuana.
