The Pennyrile District Health Department reported a total of eight COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Trigg and Lyon counties Monday.
The health department’s report shows six new cases in Trigg County, including a 7-year old female. The other cases involve four females and one male ranging from 26 to 70 years old. All six are isolated at home.
To date, a total of 192 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Trigg County.
In Lyon County, the two new COVID cases involve a 45-year old female and a 59-year old female, who are both isolated at home.
The latest cases raise Lyon County’s overall total to 83 since the outbreak began.
