Princeton Man Charged After Two County Pursuit

A 19-year old Princeton man is facing multiple charges after a pursuit in Lyon and Livingston counties Wednesday night.

According to Kentucky State Police, troopers attempted to stop the driver of a car for a traffic violation around the 37-mile marker of Interstate 24 Wednesday night around 10:15. Troopers said the driver, later identified as Jameer Riley, fled reaching speeds near 150 mph. He then exited I-24 at Exit 31 and crashed at the end of Morris Road in Livingston County. After the vehicle was disabled, Riley was able to escape on foot.

Police said Riley was arrested on warrants Friday evening and booked into the McCracken County Jail. He was charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle, first-degree fleeing or evading police on foot, first-degree wanton endangerment,  possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and traffic-related offenses.
