The health department reported Christian County’s 24th and 25th COVID-related deaths Friday.
Christian County Health Department spokeswoman Amanda Sweeney said the 24th death is a 66-year-old Caucasian female. In addition, the 25th death is an 89-year-old white male. Both had underlying health conditions. She extended their thoughts and prayers to the friends and family of those we have lost to the virus.
Sweeney added there were 30 new COVID-19 cases announced Friday in Christian County. Officials have confirmed 1,397 total cases, with 187 active. Of that, 123 are under the age of 60, and 64 are 60 or older. There are 1,185 recoveries in Christian County.
